Diablo 2 rune drop rates

It's possible that the odds for HR drops were changed and the silopen site was never updated. Is the silopen calculator predicting the odds per drop rather than per kill or something? Since item drops are best obtained Single runes can drop anywhere in Diablo 2: Resurrected, starting in Ber, 63, +20 chance of crushing blow. So which is it? Is the silopen site wrong, is MaxRoll wrong, or were the HR drop rates buffed (as far as we know?)

They seem like they are about 6.1x higher. MaxRoll has their own item drop calculator for D2R and their numbers are way different for high rune drops.Īccording to MaxRoll, the HR drop rates for D2R are significantly higher. With that said, it really seems like it only takes ~200 hours of hell farming to get a Ber rune to drop currently in D2.

I realize that isn't factoring chests, ghosts/champs/uniques/SU/boss monsters, which all would reduce the average number of hours because their drop rates are much higher. There's a drop calculator for d2 over on the silopen site that I've used a few time before and one thing I've noticed with it is that the rune drop rates don't seem right to me.Ī Ber rune is supposedly a 1 in 4.4 million drop off a normal monster and if you figure that your character can kill ~30 monsters a minute, that's 1,800 normal monster kills an hour, so it would take ~2,500 hours of farming normal monsters to get a Ber rune.įrom experience, that definitely seems wrong.
